| Frequently
Asked Questions (FAQ) |
| Q.
|
What
assures that Jetlite gives complete
polymerization? |
|
Jetlite
dental curing unit produces a visible
blue-light bandwidth between 400-520
nanometers for a complete and
successful polymerization. |
| Q.
|
Does
it show curing intensity in percentage? |
|
No.
Showing percentage of efficiency is an eyewash
as anybody can adjust the percentage. What
matters is the proper bandwidth in nanometers. |

| Frequently
Asked Questions (FAQ) |
| Q.
|
How
does it prevent microleakage?
|
|
It has a high bond strength of 24
MPa, offering improved
sealing properties and protection from marginal
microleakage. Even in severe test conditions (i.e. Class
V restoration) Liner Bond 2V shows excellent results as
far marginal sealing is concerned. |
| Q.
|
Is
it the best product on the market and economical too?
|
|
All the companies of the world are still manufacturing
Bonding Agents with Etching and Kuraray 4 years back
introduced this Self Etching Bonding Agent invented by
Dr. Takao Fusiyama, who is known as Godfather of the
Adhesive Dentistry. Dr. Fusiyama was awarded American
Dental Association Gold Medal for inventing this
Self-Etching Primer. Clearfil Liner Bond 2V kit is for
200 applications and as such is most economical. |
| Q.
|
How
does Clearfil Liner Bond 2V bond to amalgam?
|
|
It has a thin air-inhibited layer of unpolymerized (MDP)
monomer on its surface which flows into the microscopic
voids in the amalgam that is placed on top of it. The
polymerization mechanism already at work from the
previously light-curing continues to act on the
unpolymerized monomer completely curing it in the
absence of light. The bond strength to amalgam has been
greatly improved in Liner Bond 2V.
